At about 2.25am on Sunday, a silver Vauxhall Corsa was travelling along the A629 Steeton bypass towards Keighley when it left the road and struck a lamppost, close to the roundabout at Steeton.

Eastwood Community School pupils is looking forward to hosting a sporting superstar after their pupils helped raise thousands of pounds for a charity fund supporting orphans in Pakistan.

Two-time world boxing champion Amir Khan, 30, will visit Eastwood Community School, on Tuesday, after students and staff raised the most money through a charity cake sale appeal run by his foundation.

The single vehicle crash occurred at 2.33am, on 23 July on the Aire Valley Trunk Road, near the Silsden roundabout.

Tiannie Jessop Lord MayorA schoolgirl’s design has been adopted as the logo to keep kids safe from Child Sexual Exploitation.
Tiannie Jessop, a Year Five pupil at Our lady of Victories Catholic Primary School, met the Lord Mayor of Bradford, Coun Abid Hussain and worked with a professional designer from the Council to finalise the logo.

Tiannie’s creation was chosen by the designer from the council, from around 40 entries submitted by children from Our Lady of Victories, Merlin Top and Laycock Primary Schools. Her design was deemed the simplest and cleanest.

The pupils from Our Lady of Victories and St Joseph’s interviewed the Labour politician over concerns they have about Keighley.
And the bright pupils asked searching questions that would put hardened journalists to shame.

South African born Carl began work at Dyson Doors & Fabrications Ltd, on the Snaygill Estate, Skipton in August 2015, after knocking on the door and asking for a job.

New attractions are still not complete and the pond was leaky.
The glitches have forced Bradford Council to delay the grand opening until later in the year.

cannabis Sandywood StreetPolice who seized 41 cannabis plants from a property on Sandywood Street have released a suspect pending further enquiries.
Officers raided the drugs farm and found the cannabis bush at 8am on Friday.

Over the past few days, numerous reports had been received of a nuisance scooter being ridden in the area.
