Martin PantonPaedophile lovers who subjected a teenage girl to a catalogue of sex abuse have been jailed for a total of 15 years.

Martin Panton, 49, and Katherine Pengilley, 54, began having sex with their victim when she was just 12 years old in their ‘unique and bizarre relationship’, a court heard.

Twisted Panton – who is to face terror charges at Westminster Magistrates’ Court after he sparked a bomb scare at his former terrace home in Keighley – was caged for 10 years and Pengilley for five years after admitting to the prolonged and habitual abuse spanning from 2000 to 2005.

north yorkshire policePolice are appealing for witnesses and information about an attempted house burglary that occurred in Kildwick.

It happened on Kirkgate at 2.30am on Monday 17 April 2017 and involved the offender smashing a conservatory window before leaving in what could have been a dark coloured saloon vehicle.

Officers are conducting enquiries and are requesting the public’s assistance to help determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

Bradford magsA known beggar who racially abused a Keighley Bus Station security officer returned to apologise, a court heard.

Allen Williams, 37, launched a vile barrage of racist insults at Mohammed Naheem as he served him with a banning order, Bradford Magistrates’ Court heard.

Dad-of-three Williams shouted ‘f*%k off you black bastard, go back to your own country’ as he was approached by Mr Naheem and two fellow security guards at 2.30pm on Friday, 20th January.

cliffe helpersA charity helping people with mental health problems has been pitching in with the restoration of Cliffe Castle Park.

A joint venture between Bradford Council, Shipley College’s horticultural social enterprise Bradford Works, and the Cellar Trust has seen the charity’s clients working to maintain and improve the grounds.

The weekly venture sees the clients carrying out all sorts of gardening activities, learning practical skills they can use in the workplace.

north yorkshire policeA Keighley pensioner who died in a Yorkshire Dales car smash has been named as Rade Brkovic.

Police are appealing for witnesses – including the occupants of a black car - after Mr Brkovic, 74, died in a collision on the B6255 near White Scar Caves, near Ingleton.

The crash occured at around 11.30am on Sunday 9 April 2017 when a silver Vauxhall Vectra travelling towards Ingleton collided with two vehicles – a red MG and a silver Volkswagen Jetta - travelling in the opposite direction.

Pamela MorrisA Glusburn woman has gone missing.

Pamela Morris, 61, was last seen by a bus stop on Main St, Crosshills at around 8.30am on Tuesday, 4 April.

Pamela is described as a white woman, of slim build and around 5’7” tall with collar length brown hair.

Nicola Brown, 36, was struck by severe gastroenteritis just days into a trip with her partner Andrew Greenwood, 44, at the four-star Dreams Palm Beach in the Dominican Republic.

She spent four days in a medical centre and was put on a drip for fluids and antibiotics.

Officers would like to speak to the suspect about the incident in Devonshire Street at around 8pm on Tuesday, 7 March, in which a woman in her forties suffered stab wounds and a head injury.
