More than 200 jobs are on offer at an up-coming employment event.
Full and part-time roles and apprenticeships are ready to be filled when Keighley College opens its doors to the Keighley and Ilkley Jobs Fair on Friday 10 March.
Jobseekers and school leavers are welcome to attend this free-to-enter event where they will have the chance to meet with local employers from across a wide range of business sectors.
This will be the third Keighley and Ilkley Jobs Fair organised by local MP Kris Hopkins MP.
Kris said:“There will be a huge amount of information and many first class work opportunities available on the day.
“The event is for people of all ages, from those leaving school to others seeking a new career challenge. I look forward to meeting the businesses and attendees next week.”
More than 30 employers will be at Keighley College to exhibit on the day including Riddlesden-based water treatment experts Calmag.
Angela Wysocki from Calmag said:“After attending Kris Hopkins’ Careers Fair in 2016, Calmag are pleased to attend this very worthwhile event to meet with other likeminded businesses, education professionals and, most importantly, those who are looking to start, develop or further advance their careers in the excellent venue at Keighley College.
“We will be pleased to meet and discuss all our employment requirements with those who attend on the day.”
Chris Stott, Business Manager at Keighley College, added:“The College is very much looking forward to hosting Kris’s third Jobs Fair. Over the last few years we have built up strong connections with local employers and this year the College will be offering over 150 apprenticeships. I would encourage future school leavers to visit us on the 10 March and see what is available for them”.
The Fair will officially open at 10am and run until 1pm.”
