Police are appealing for witnesses and information about an attempted house burglary that occurred in Kildwick.

It happened on Kirkgate at 2.30am on Monday 17 April 2017 and involved the offender smashing a conservatory window before leaving in what could have been a dark coloured saloon vehicle.

Officers are conducting enquiries and are requesting the public’s assistance to help determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, police are appealing for information about any suspicious persons or vehicles seen in the vicinity at the relevant time.
