red scooter

Joyriders who have plagued Keighley on a stolen scooter are being hunted by police.

Over the past few days, numerous reports had been received of a nuisance scooter being ridden in the area.
On Wednesday 5th July, officers from the ASB bike team attended the area along with local officers.

After an extensive area search, the scooter was located after being hidden in woodland but unfortunately the riders had made off.

The bike was recovered and was found to have been stolen days earlier from North Yorkshire area.
Enquiries are ongoing to trace the riders of the bike.

Over 780 vehicles have been recovered by the team to date and their work continues across the district.
