Old Registry thief

A restaurateur has posted a video of a suspected thief who targeted his business.
The grey-haired man visited The Old Registry, on Main Street, Haworth, this morning claiming he was looking for work.
But once alone the man rifled through the breakfast waitress’ handbag at 11.10am, today,The Old Registry owner Peter Quinn said they had just finished serving breakfast when the suspect walked in.
“He came looking for a job and said he had an NVQ in cooking, but I think it was just a front,” said Mr Quinn.


“He might still be in Haworth and might target other businesses.”
Police are aware and anybody who can identify the suspect is asked to contact West Yorkshire Police or Mr Quinn directly.
