Aire Valley Against Incineration is holding its next public meeting on 2nd October.

The pressure group, which is fighting the construction of a waste burning plant near Marley, has already raised £28,792.81 to fund a legal battle.

AVAI is waiting for a judge to decide whether there can be a judicial review into the building of the waste to energy incinerator.

AVAI is holding its next public meeting on Monday 2nd October at 7:30pm - 9pm at Central Hall, Alice Street, Keighley, and the group hopes to have news of the judicial review by then.

John Grogan MP will also be speaking at the meeting and will be able to answer questions.
