A Skipton man has been jailed for 32 months after hitting a man with a plank of wood.
Simon Nicholas Whiteside, 47, of Greenfield Street was sentenced at York Crown Court on Tuesday 7 February 2017.
On 11 August 2016, Whiteside repeatedly hit a 53-year-old man with the plank down an alleyway in Skipton. The assault resulted in face and head injuries that required hospital treatment including staples and gluing.
Police need help identifying a suspect after a street brawl left a teen with a broken jaw.
A CCTV image has been release in a bid to catch the attacker.
The assault happened on Newmarket Street, Skipton, at 3.45 am on Saturday 10 December 2016.

Rucastle crashed the blue Mitsubishi L200 near Thornton-in-Lonsdale just after midnight on 6 June 2015.

Between 11.30 am and 12.30pm on Wednesday 28 September 2016 a white hatchback, believed to be a Ford C-Max, containing a group of young men aged between 18 – 25 attempted to steal vehicles from two separate locations in the Skipton area.
