next skipton womanNorth Yorkshire Police have released a CCTV image of a woman they would like to speak to in connection with a theft from Next in Skipton.

The incident happened on the afternoon of Wednesday 16 December 2015 when several items of clothing were removed from hangers and stolen form the store in Thanets Yard, Skipton.

Anyone who can help police to identify the woman in the image is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police. Dial 101, press option 2 and ask to speak to PC 1778 Mark Browne.

Coun Robert MasonCraven District Council chairman, Councillor Robert Mason, is this year raising money for the British Heart Foundation and Manorlands Hospice.

The swim challenge will take place from January to March with various distances to challenge all swimmers.

Entrants can choose from bronze, silver, gold or platinum awards, with all distances to be completed by March 31.

The doorman at Kooky, in Skipton, was attacked at 1.50am on 1st January as people celebrated 2016.

North Yorkshire Police are appealing for witnesses to the assault.

Skipton Police have released a CCTV image of the suspect they need to speak to about the alleged shoplighting.

The incident happened at around 11.50am today, Monday 21 December 2015, when the unknown man was captured on security cameras entering the store on Thanets Yard.

North Yorkshire Police has today released a film which shows how quickly and easily they can detect and arrest a person for drink or drug driving.

In an effort to deter people from putting their lives at risk this Christmas, the film depicts a person being stopped by a traffic officer for their manner of driving and being breathalysed and drug wiped.

roryyork1CCTV images have been issued as the search for missing Skipton man Rory Johnson continues.

Police investigating his disappearance hope the images will jog the memories of anyone who may have seen Rory in York in the early hours of Friday 20 November 2015.

The images show Rory in Tower Street, York at around 12.39am opposite Clifford’s Tower. A further sighting of Rory in the City Mills area at 12.47am has since been confirmed by family members.
