Skipton Castle is one of the best preserved medieval castles in England . You can explore every bit of this excellent castle. During the Civil War it endured a 3 year seige. It is over 900 years old.
Every visitor is given a tour sheet full of drawings and interesting facts.
You can relax in the picnic area or in the tea room or visit the shop for more information.

Skipton Castle is open daily from 10am Sunday 12 noon, except for 25 December. Last admission is at 6pm October - February 4pm.
