A greedy mother and daughter fleeced £1/2m from a wealthy widow as part of a bogus gang of carers, a court heard.
Ringleaders Wendy Bell, 57, and Amanda Carroll, 44, who were unqualified, charged the millionairess upto £121 an hour for round-the-clock care.
The fraudsters roped in family members, including daughter Lisa Bell, 30, and friends, none of whom were qualified.
Instead of looking after the needs of Audrey Hammond, 91, who is suffering from Parkinson's Disease, the 'grotesquely' overpaid carers set up a burger van business from Mrs Hammond's grand Ings House in the Yorkshire Dales village of Cracoe.
