The cop required hospital treatment for his wounds suffered during the chase and apprehension of ‘one of the area’s most wanted men’.
The suspect has been on the run for six months.

Police detained the offender after a short chase through woodland on the hilltops above Keighley this afternoon.
West Yorkshire Police confirmed: “At approximately 5.20pm on Tuesday, May 9, police attended a residential address in the Long Lee area of Keighley and arrested a male wanted for a serious domestic assault. "During the arrest an officer received minor injuries and received hospital treatment.”
Keighley Police tweeted:”An officer was injured but thankfully not seriously. The arrest was made in Long Lee.”
