An incinerator destined for the Aire Valley now faces a legal battle.
Protestors against the waste to energy burner have secured a judicial review, which could scupper the development.

Aire Valley Against Incineration is now awaiting a date for the court hearing.
A spokesperson for AVAI said:”It has just been confirmed that we can have our day in court as our judicial review application has been accepted!
“The case has also been designated as 'significant' - this means it is getting the serious attention it deserves.
“Although we do not yet have a date, we know that the case will be heard in Leeds. We will, of course, let everybody know when a date has been set. But for now, the campaign continues to gain momentum.”
AVAI is urging supporters to display one of their 'not for sale' boards to keep the campaign in the public eye.
Approximately thirty are available on a first come, first served basis; it doesn’t matter whether you live on a main road, a cul-de-sac or a hilltop farm.
