Body Found in Burnt Out Car at Recent Bronte Film Set
A body has been found in a burnt out car at a beauty spot.
Police were called this morning after a charred corpse was disovered in the wreckage of the torched vehicle on Penistone Hill.
Officers attended the location of the grisly find on Penistone Hill Country Park, near Oxenhope, at 7.28am today.
The scenic area was the hilltop setting for last years's drama 'To Walk Invisible' about the lives of the Bronte Sisters.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said:"Officers were called to the scene at 7.28am today (Monday).
"One person was found to be deceased at the scene.
"Enquiries are continuing at the scene to establish the circumstances."
