Police are hunting a pedestrian spotted punching and kicking a car in traffic.

The incident of criminal damage occurred in Skipton on Thursday 17 August.

At approximately 5.05pm a vehicle was travelling down Skipton High Street in slow moving traffic.

Outside Rackhams a man approached the vehicle and began punching the front passenger side window. No damage was caused.
Around five minutes later, outside Kooky Nightclub, the same man kicked the bonnet, causing damage.
It is believed that members of the public intervened to stop the suspect.
The suspect is described as a white male, aged in his mid to late teens, slim build with short light coloured hair.
Police are conducting enquiries and are requesting the public’s assistance to help determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
In particular, they are appealing for information about the incident outside Kooky where damage has been caused.
